Technical Description and Principles of Operation
Apart from solid impurities, industrial and municipal wastes contain pollutants that must be separated. This must be done at the beginning of the technological sewage treatment. We offer you a perpetual screw sand separator - PSK, for final sand separation. It consists of a sand settling tank and a screw conveyor.
Principles of operation
As a result of reduction of speed of sewage flow from the system to the separator, sand settles on the bottom of the working chamber. Sewage excess with organic elements flows through the partition. Slant helical conveyor picks up the sand from the bottom of the working chamber. During this process gravitational dewatering of the transported sand also occurs. The dewatered sand is being dropped outside the desander into the provided container.
